ANDY & NATALIE.

Liverpool Hope Street Hotel & The London Carriage Works | 29th October 2021

This was a brilliant wedding to be asked to photograph! It was a lovely autumnal day.

The wedding took place in my favourite venue in Liverpool maybe(?) - Hope Street Hotel. It’s always been iconic because of it’s location, but I particularly love the design and decor. There aren’t too many other places like it around. It’s always been fairly ‘trendy’, but they’ve always managed to keep it modern despite how trends and tastes change. The two restaurants joined to it add to quite a cool, vibrant atmosphere.

The wedding itself had its own really unique, quirky style. I love it when couple’s personalities are evident through what they were, the decor that compliments the day, the table arrangements or the cake. In this case, Natalie really set the tone. An edgy gothic chic (skulls in particular) subtly found its way into most aspects of the day, in contrast to many traditional aspects, but didn’t overpower it. It was very tasteful. The lace dress, skull stockings, intricate shoes and bold red lipstick made a statement.

It was an intimate wedding, with Andy and Natalie’s daughter involved throughout. She was a proper character, and had her camera on her all day!

Here are a few photos from the day…
